Solid Waste Management Authorization
As per the rule, solid waste means Means and includes solid or semi-solid domestic waste, sanitary waste, commercial waste, institutional waste, catering and market waste and other non-residential waste, street sweeping, silt removed or collected from surface drainage, horticultural waste, agricultural waste, and dairy waste, bio-medical waste treatment excluding industrial waste, bio-medical waste and e-waste, battery waste, radioactive waste generated in the area under the local authorities and other entities mentioned in rule 2 As per Solid Waste Management Rules , 2015 any individual or group of persons, residential and non-residential premises including Indian Railways, defense establishments that generate solid waste are classified as waste generators.
